As Certified Public Account Brandon Belanger of Walnut Creek, California, moves forward in his career in finance, he hopes to find opportunities for advancement that will provide him with the chance to utilize his acumen for working under pressure, communicating with his co-workers and clients, and learning new concepts and skills. Before starting his career, Brandon Belanger developed his understanding of the field through his studies at the California State University of the East Bay, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Over the course of his studies, he learned much through his membership in the CSUEB Accounting Association.
In 2008, Brandon Belanger joined Rothstein Kass as an Audit Associate. This role places him in charge of a wide-range of tasks, such as facilitating communication between the firm and its clients, providing support in the arrangement of various events and engagements, preparing tax returns, and auditing hedge funds and fund-of-fund investments. Over the course of his involvement with the company, Mr. Belanger has consistently met internal and external deadlines and has achieved excellent performance evaluations. Currently, he is a member of CalCPA and AICPA.
In his spare time, Brandon Belanger loves helping dogs and cats as a supporter of the Animal Rescue Foundation. He also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. When not working, Mr. Belanger enjoys sports such as snowboarding, hockey, and fishing. He also plays the guitar, appreciates classic cars, and studies marine biology, maintaining an aquarium.
